Antique figural bronze combination inkstand. A charming early 19th century bronze inkstand in the shape of a boat with a gilt finished sailor hauling in a fishing net. The basket full of fish on board lifts to reveal the inkwell compartment. Also included is a taperstick holder, a match holder and a twig pen rack. ca: 1840 |
